Green Lane Mosque's act of dividing the Muslims on Eid:

Green Lane Mosque's act of dividing the Muslims on Eid:

1.  Green Lane are a "political jamaa'ah" as Shaikh Ubayd said, not upon the Sunnah. So this act of their's is in line with their political methodology.

2. The Salafis of Birmingham have been performing eid prayer at the park in Small Heath for 20 years, so would it not have been more suitable for this group who claims to "love unity" to join the existing jamaa'ah rather than to split the Muslims. Yet another sign of their hypocrisy in action.

3. When exactly did it become a "Sunnah" for them? - since 1994 we were arguing with this political group about this Sunnah and they would mock us and scoff at our leaving the mosque to pray outside. Now they decide to go behind our backs and treacherously plot a second eid prayer.

4. They in reality have no concern for the sunnah. It is just another political step to raise their profile and provoke the Salafis. Why else choose the same site as the Salafi Masjid? Why split the jamaa'ah when the "Sunnah" that the claim to follow demands one jamaa'ah wherever possible for eid?

5. Remember this is the same group that invited a magician to perform tricks as a means of dawah to their mosque. They even had the audacity to make a video and put it on YouTube. Till this day they refuse to condemn that magician and his activities.

7. This is the same mosque that invited the hijaab-less socialist woman Salma Yaqoob to their mosque to call the congregation to vote for her.

8. This is the same mosque that allows Abu Usaamah to speak ill of Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq from the mimbar - and then defend his wicked speech!

9. These people are wicked in the way they deal with Salafis. They are politicians of the most treacherous type with no regard except for their own party.

10. They introduced the bid'ah of collecting zakaat and using it on their mosque building...a wicked innovation.

11. It was their "shaikh" Suhaib Hasan who went to the Prophet's "birthday" celebrations and had his photo taken with soofees and grave worshippers. Instead of condemning this wicked act, they wrote an article defending his deeds. So what sunnah do they claim to follow?

12. Do not be deceived, the callers and leaders of Green Lane are opposers of Sunnah and Salafiyyah. They deserve to be refuted and rebuked. Rather it is an obligation by fard kifaayah.
